Bulandshahr: Four killed in road accident

Four people, including two brothers, were killed and one more was injured when a car was hit by an unidentified vehicle in the Dibai area of Bulandshahr district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday.

Police sources said that the incident took place when Pramod (42), a resident of Dhanari village, along with his brother Neeraj (37), Pushpendra, Jitendra, and Mukesh, were going to Noida from Salempur village near Atrauli. “Around 2 am the car in which they were travelling was hit by another vehicle near Danpar village,” they said.

Police sources said that all the passengers were trapped inside the car after the incident. “The villagers informed the police, after which a rescue operation was launched in which the passengers trapped in the car were taken out with the help of a cutter machine,” they said.

Police sources said that while Neeraj and Pramod were killed on the spot, Jitendra and Pushpendra died while being taken to the hospital. “Mukesh sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to the hospital,” they said.
