Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday is a historic day for Bundelkhand, after the 296 km long Bundelkhand Expressway been inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as this expressway will provide a new dimension to the economy of entire Uttar Pradesh including Bundelkhand.
He said the arrival of the Prime Minister in Jalaun is very important. “Realizing the vision of “Gramodaya se Rashtradaya” by the Prime Minister, the holy program of Prime Minister’s ownership scheme ‘Gharauni’, which provides permanent solution to all disputes in the rural area, Jalaun has become the first district where 100 per cent rural people residential records have been made available at home,” he said.
Despite the Corona epidemic, the 296 km long 4 lane, which can be expanded to 6 lanes, is very important to be inaugurated within a record 28 months time, CM said at the inauguration programmee of the Bundelkhand expressway here on Saturday.
Yogi Adityanath said after independence, the facilities which every Bundelkhand resident had dreamed of, today during the Amrit Mahotsav year of independence, they are getting everything in the form of development, public facilities and ease of living.
“Today every Bundelkhand resident feels pride and dignity under the leadership of Prime Minister. Under his direction entire country’s development has reached to a new height, Uttar Pradesh is moving ahead by adopting it too,” he said.
He said Bundelkhand has moved rapidly towards the solution of the problem of drought. Along with the Arjun Sahayak Project in 2021, about one and a half dozen such irrigation schemes have been completed due to which 21 lakh hectare land has got additional irrigation facility, he said.
“Very soon ambitious Har Ghar Nal campaign of providing pure drinking water to every household of Bundelkhand will be completed,” CM announced.
