Leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Saturday expressed his annoyance over select bureaucrats and JD(U) leaders calling the shots in the name of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as he is not able to take any decision on his own.
Yadav, also a senior RJD leader said it was most painful to note that select retired bureaucrats and JD(U) leaders were calling the shots in the name of Chief Minister Kumar. It was evident even from his ” Pragati Yatra ” during which he did not utter even a single word neither with media persons and those who met him during the Yatra, he pointed out.
RJD leader said that BPSC aspirants were lathi-charged by the administration causing injuries to them but their genuine demand of re-conducting examination due to paper leaks, was not being accepted. What was the difficulty in re-conducting the examination after the cancellation of the earlier test if there was a paper leak, he remarked and added that the cancellation of the test held at only one centre was not enough to do justice to aspirants.
Yadav said that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had written a letter to Chief Minister Kumar but its reply was given by JD(U) working President Sanjay Jha. Who was Sanjay and in what capacity, he replied to the letter of Kejriwal on behalf of Kumar, he asked. After all, Kejriwal had been Chief Minister of Delhi and Nitish himself should have replied to his letter, he maintained.
RJD leader dismissed speculations over the possibility of his party joining hands with Nitish as the latter could take a decision on the issue after January 15. All such speculations were baseless and nothing was left in Nitish, he pointed out.
