Three youngsters, including a woman, died today when their motorbike was rammed head on by a speeding truck in the vicinity of Kharwat Chowk on National Highway 43 in this district’s Baikunthpur.
The accident occurred at about 0100 hrs. Police rushed to the spot and conveyed the grievously-injured persons to a hospital in Baikunthpur where they were pronounced dead. One youth was identified and his kin informed.
The corpses were sent to the district hospital for autopsy. The lorry driver sped away after the incident.
