Delhi Engineering Association honours two ISRO scientists for Chandrayan3 mission

 The Principal Advisor of DMRC, Mangu Singh on Friday felicitated two ISRO scientists Sham Rao and Kaushlendra Kumar Kaushal for the successful launching of Chandrayan 3 in New Delhi.

Both the scientists were honoured at a function organised by the Delhi Engineers Association to mark the Engineers Day celebrations.

On this occasion 45 engineers from DDA, MCD, DJB, NDMC, Power Companies, DSIDC, DTC, PWD, Railways and engineers from private sectors were also honoured for their distinguished service rendered in the field of engineering.

The Engineers day celebrates on this very day every year to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya a Civil Engineer.

During the event, 10 Chief Engineers, 11 Superintending Engineers, 11 Executive Engineers, 3 Assistant Engineers and 2 Junior Engineers were honoured for successfully conducting the G20 Summit in New Delhi.

As per the statement three engineers were honoured from the Private sector for exemplary work done in the field engineering.

“One is from Google, the second is from TCG and the third is from Lemon Er. Ram Bahadur Verma Tree Hotels Pvt Ltd” it said.

Mukesh Sharma, who is an engineer and Director Horticulture from NDMC was also appreciated for his work.

Addressing the gathering, General Secretary of Delhi Engineers Association, Param Yadav asked the engineers to make Bharat a developed country by 2047 as dreamed by the Prime minister Narender Modi.

He emphasised that the engineering community must work hard to make Bharat the 3rd largest economy of the world by 2030.
