The President and CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Clark met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar here today, during which they discussed deepening partnership in trade and investments.
EAM Jaishankar said in a post on X:
“Glad to meet President & CEO @USChamber @SuzanneUSCC today.
“A useful exchange on deepening trade and investments, building resilient supply chains and strengthening the India-US strategic partnership.”
The meeting comes as India and the US are holding key negotiations on a bilateral trade agreement and lowering tariffs. Assistant US Trade Representative for South and Central Asia Brendan Lynch is in India along with a team of US government officials for the talks.
On Tuesday, Clark addressed the US-India Business Council 50th Anniversary Special Summit in Mumbai.
