Many tents were burnt to ashes in a fire that broke out in the Chhatnag Ghat area in Maha Kumbh Nagar of Prayagraj here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that no loss of life was reported in the incident. “The incident took place in a Vedic Tent City set up by a private company on the edge of the fair area in the Chhatnag Ghat area in Sector 22,” they said.
Police sources said that the fire led to chaos in the area. “Several fire engines present at the spot took immediate action and controlled the fire. There is no report of any loss of life in this incident so far,” they said.
