One person was killed on the spot and four others injured when a car in which they were traveling lost control and turned turtle after ramming into forest areas on Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Narasingh in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the occupants were proceeding to Shamshabad from Gachibowli.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for a post-mortem.
Police suspect that overspeeding was said to be the cause of the accident.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway, police added.
