A helicopter of Indian Air Force (IAF) made an emergency landing in the field after it developed some technical snag in Holagarh area of Prayagrah district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
Police sources said here that the Chetak helicopter of the IAF made the emergency landing in the field in Sultanpur Akbarpur gram sabha at around 10:40 am. “The pilot and co-pilot landed safely. The chopper took off from the Prayagraj training mission,” they said.
The sources said that the IAF officers were immediately informed about the emergency landing after the helicopter developed technical snag. “An engineering unit reached the spot and rectified the snag after which the helicopter took off around 12 noon,” they said.
