) Income Tax (IT) officials have been conducting searches at the residence and offices of former MP and Congress candidate Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in Paleru since the early hours of Thursday.
The raids have been carried out at multiple locations in Khammam, Narayanapuram, and Hyderabad, according to official sources.
The search operation commenced at Ponguleti’s residence and offices in Khammam at 0430 hours, with IT officials arriving in eight vehicles.
Ponguleti is scheduled to file his nomination today, prompting all his family members to gather at the Khammam residence. IT officials arrived at 0430 hours in the morning and confiscated cell phones from Ponguleti’s family members and followers. Additionally, IT officials are conducting searches at Ponguleti’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, the sources added.
