K Reddy leads bike rally from martyrs’ pylon, Secunderabad to Amaradhamam, Parakala,

Date:

 G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Tourism & Culture and President of the BJP in Telangana, led a bike rally on Friday, starting from the Martyrs’ Pylon Parade Grounds in Secunderabad and concluding at Amaradhamam in Parakala.

The primary objective of this rally was to exert pressure on the state government for the official recognition of Telangana Liberation Day.

Key demands articulated during the rally included the incorporation of the liberation struggle into the school curriculum and the development of sites where soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice into memorial locations.

The rally route encompassed several significant locales, spanning Habsiguda, Bhuvanagiri, Janagam, Warangal, Mulugu Crossroads, and ultimately Parakala.

Later in the evening, Kishan Reddy is slated to participate in a public meeting at Amaradhamam in Parakal.

In conjunction with Kishan Reddy’s bike rally, the BJP is in the planning stages of organising similar bike rallies in all assembly constituencies.

The bike rally was inaugurated by Prakash Javadekar, former Union Minister and Election Incharge for Telangana, in conjunction with Dr K Laxman, Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha and President of the All India BJP OBC Morcha.

Meanwhile, Dr Laxman oversaw the parade rehearsal of paramilitary forces as part of the preparations for the Liberation Day celebrations scheduled for September 17 at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad.
