Kharge pays homage to Narasimha Rao

 Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday paid rich tributes to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his death anniversary.

Taking to Twitter, the Congress chief wrote, Our tribute to Former Prime Minister, PV Narasimha Rao.”

“His government steered the remarkable transformation of India’s economy through liberalisation,” he said.

Kharge said a number of foreign policy achievements also marked Rao’s tenure.

“We pay homage to his contribution in nation building,” he added.
