A 23-year-old youth died on the spot while his younger brother was seriously injured in an accident that took place at Amba Phata on the Pune-Bangalore National Highway on Thursday morning.
Police said that when two brothers were going for a job on a motorcycle, a speedy car hit them on the Pune-Bangalore national highway, killing Ganesh Anil Nikam (23), while his brother, Vaibhav (21) was seriously injured and is being treated at a private hospital.
A case was registered, and further investigation was underway, the police added.
