Maharashtra reported 1,258 fresh Covid-19 cases, according to a health bulletin released on Saturday.
The state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 81,02,377, while the overall toll stood at 1,48,257 with six new death cases reported.
The bulletin said 1,942 patients were cured of the virus and discharged, taking the recovery count to 79,44,923.
The state’s recovery rate significantly stands at 98.02 per cent and fatality rate at 1.83 per cent .
Presently, there are 9,197 active Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the state, the bulletin added.
In Marathwada region there are 21 positive cases and one death case, including 8 in Aurangabad district, Latur (7), Parbhani (2), Jalna (1), Hingoli (1), Osmanabad (1), Nanded (1), the bulletin said.
