A pistol, along with a magazine, one round of live .32mm ammunition, and one live round of 7.62 x 30mm AK rifle ammunition were recovered from the individual’s possession.

In a separate operation, security personnel recovered a significant cache of weapons and equipment from a forested area near Maovom village under Churachandpur Police Station in Churachandpur district. The recovered items included various country-made firearms, including rifles, pistols, a lathode gun, and a Sten carbine. Live and empty rounds of different calibres, including 5.56mm, 7.62mm, 12 Gauge, and ammunition for pump-action weapons, were also seized.

Additionally, military gear such as a bulletproof jacket, helmet, communication equipment, and jungle boots were recovered during the search.

Another search operation, conducted in the Wangoo Naodakhong area under Kumbi Police Station in Bishnupur district led to the seizure of a pistol, two empty magazines, and two rounds of live .32mm ammunition.
