MP ministers to pay income tax

The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday decided that all state ministers will have to pay their income tax and the government will not bear their tax burden as it had been doing for over half a century.

All Madhya Pradesh ministers, including the chief minister, will pay income taxes on their salaries and allowances, as per a decision taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
