As many as two people died and five were injured four of them critically, when a speeding truck hit the autorickshaw they were travelling from behind near Panikoili chhak in Jajpur district on the wee hours of Tuesday.
Sources said the deceased included a 12-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.
All the injured have been rushed to the Jajpur district headquarters hospital.
The accident occurred when the victims were on their way from Patnasahi of Sahapada village in Bhadrak district to Puri to have darshan of Lord Jaganath.
