The opposition created ruckus in Bihar assembly over the issue of law and order and rising crime across the state.
Soon after the Assembly Speaker Nand Kishor Yadav took up the Zero Hour proceedings during the pre lunch sitting on Wednesday, the opposition members shouting slogans against the increasing crime trooped to the well.
Referring to various criminal incidents reported recently, the members accused the State Government of failing to tackle them.
Amidst bedlam the speaker requested the slogan shouting members to resume their seats and continued the zero hour proceedings. Later the opposition members walked out of the house.
Earlier, soon after the adjournment motions were turned down, the CPIML member Mehboob Alam while reading his adjournment notice with the permission of the speaker, said that criminal incidents were growing in an uncontrolled manner against Dalits, women, minorities, and other such sections exposing the BJP-JDU government of the state.
Speaking about the recent massive loot of ornaments worth Rs 25 crore in the Tanishq showroom in Arah, he said that the cybercrime, favorites, rape, murder, and atrocities against women were taking place in series and dubbed it as “Maha Jungle” rule of BJP-JDU government. He said that the people were forced to live in a state of terror as the law and order had totally collapsed in the state.
While reading his notice, MLA Ranvijay Sahu also alleged that an atmosphere of fear has been unleashed in the state under the BJP-JDU regime.
