Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced a 12-point action plan, including setting up a 100-bed regional super specialty hospital in Fiji, Jaipur Foot camps, desalination units for drinking water and sea ambulances, during the Third FIPIC Summit at Port Moresby.
MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi in a tweet said that PM Modi and Papua New Guinea PM James Marape successfully co-hosted the Third Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) Summit in Port Moresby.
He said the 12-point action plan would consolidate the shared vision of a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
