PM Modi extends greetings to nation on Karma Puja

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended warm wishes to all fellow countrymen, with a special message for the tribal community on the occasion of Karma Puja.
Speaking on the significance of the festival, Modi highlighted the enduring bond between brother and sister and the important role of nature worship during the celebrations.
In a message posted on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said, “On this festival, which symbolises the unbreakable love between brother and sister, the worship of nature also holds special significance. I hope this auspicious occasion brings happiness, prosperity, and good health to everyone, and inspires greater efforts towards environmental conservation.”
Karma Puja, predominantly celebrated by tribal communities in central and eastern India, marks a time of reverence for nature and family ties.
