Punjab Cabinet meetings to be held outside Chandigarh: Mann

Chandigarh, Apr 28 (UNI) With the first cabinet meeting in Ludhiana on Friday, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that such meetings would be conducted outside Chandigarh under the state government’s initiative ‘Sarkaar tohde dwaar’ (Government at your doorstep).

Mann, in a video message, said that most of the cabinet meetings will be conducted outside Chandigarh among people so that their difficulties, complaints and suggestions could be heard.

Mann said that the ministers have been urged to take officials of their departments along with them so that problems of people could be solved on the spot.

He said that along with cities or towns the meetings could be conducted in villages also.
