Rahul Gandhi initiates distribution of 1 lakh copies of Constitution

Since the BJP formed government at the centre eigth years ago , democracy and the constitution have been under threat, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday.

In order to protect democracy and the constitution,on the initiative of the president of the MPCC SC department, Siddharth Hattiambire, it has been decided to distribute one lakh copies of the constitution and this campaign was started by Rahul Gandhi.

On this occasion, All India Congress Committee’s SC Department President Rajesh Lilotia, All India Congress Committee Media Department President Jairam Ramesh, In-charge. H. K. Patil, Congress State President Nana Patole, Legislature Party Leader and Bharat Jodo Yatra State Coordinator Balasaheb Thorat, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee S. C. Chairman of the department Siddharth Hattiambare, senior thinker Raosaheb Kasbe, senior journalist Uttam Kamble and office bearers were present.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar gave India the best constitution in the world. The governance of the democratic system under this constitution has started since the independence of the country.

The constitution has preserved the rights of people of all castes and religions. Unity in diversity was the identity of our country until recently, but since the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) thought government came to the centre for the last eight years, the work of destroying the constitution and democracy is going on.

The campaign of distribution of one lakh copies of the constitution to create public awareness so that this constitution given by Dr Ambedkar remains intact and democracy is protected SC Department has undertaken this initiative.
