Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday met US Secretary of Defence Lloyd J Austin in Vientaine and both sides recognised the progress made under US-India Defence Industrial Cooperation Roadmap.
The meeting between the two leaders took place on the sidelines of 11th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM)-Plus at Vientiane, Lao PDR.
Both the leaders also commended the progress achieved by the India-US defence partnership, based on increased operational coordination, information-sharing, and industrial innovation, a Defence Ministry statement said.
