A video of Shiv Sena MLA Santosh Bangar went viral on social media as the Kalamnuri lawmaker was seen allegedly using abusive language and assaulting a private catering manager for serving substandard midday meal to contract labourers in Hingoli district of Maharashtra.
A complain has been field at a local police station after the Monday incident.
Bangar was in news earlier for his comment to his supporters to not tolerate anyone calling out Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his camp as “traitors”. He openly expressed his unhappiness about people referring to the rebels as traitors. When contacted then, Bangar stood by his statement and said a true Shiv Sainik can never be a traitor.
