Sikkim: Dalai Lama departs for Siliguri

His Holiness the Dalai Lama left Sikkim on Thursday as he is scheduled to deliver the sermon in Siliguri, West Bengal.

The 14th Dalai Lama, who arrived here on December 11, delivered sermons at Paljour Stadium, attended lunch hosted by Chief Minister PS Tamang.

The public, more than happy, raised slogans like ‘PS Tamang Jindabad ‘, expressing happiness at CM’s invitation to the spiritual guru and finally getting an opportunity to get his ‘darshan’ in the state itself.
