Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin
on Monday greeted former Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference
President Farooq Abdullah on the occasion of his birthday.
In a social media post, he said “On the birthday of Jammu Kashmir National Conference
President and one of India’s seniormost politicians, Thiru. Farooq Abdullah, I salute his
unyielding fight for the rights and dignity of Kashmir and wish him a long and peaceful
life.”
“May his voice continue to inspire the quest for justice”, he said.
Mr Stalin said the ideological bond between DMK and JKNC dates back to the days
of Perarignar Anna (late TN CM and DMK Stalwart C N Annadurai) and remains as
strong as ever in protecting the democratic ethos of our Union.
