A heartbreaking incident occurred in Share Shankar Thanda, Rajampet Mandal in this district on Saturday morning when a father and his son lost their lives to snake bites.
According to the police, the deceased were identified as Ravi (40) and his son Vinodh (12). The unfortunate incident took place when a snake bit Vinodh while he was sleeping. In an attempt to protect his son, Ravi also got bitten by the snake. Believing that nothing serious would happen, they applied some leaves as a remedy. However, Vinodh’s condition deteriorated, and he passed away.
Panicked and worried, the family members rushed Ravi to a nearby hospital, but despite undergoing treatment, he could not be saved. Both of them might have had a chance to survive if they had been timely admitted to the hospital.
