Three killed as DCM vehicle crashes into sweetshop in Telangana

Three people lost their lives on the spot when a speeding DCM vehicle went out of control and rammed into a sweetshop in Devarakonda, Nalgonda district, in the early hours of Saturday.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Abdul Khader, Haji, and Nabeena. Their bodies were shifted to the Devarakonda Government Hospital for post-mortem.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the accident was caused by overspeeding, with the driver reportedly falling asleep at the wheel.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
