Tirumala: Three day Dharmica conference begins

Date:

The three-day Sri Venkateswara Dharmika conference conducted by the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) in association with the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) began at Srivari Asthana Mandapam here on Saturday.

Speaking at the conference, TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said the conference would bring a spiritual movement to India and help revive humanitarian values and the bhakti movement.

The decisions taken at the conference will further strengthen the Hindu Dharma Prachar Parishad and spread Dharma, the chairman said.

The aim is to turn it into a Hindu-spread movement and promote Dharma throughout the country, he added.

TTD has been organising several spiritual, charitable, and social programmes, and in its endeavour to propagate Dindu Dharma, TTD has been receiving suggestions from various saints, including Peetadhipathis, Matadipathis, and other Hindu spiritual saints, which are being implemented.

Against this backdrop, the TTD is holding this conference in the presence of Peetadhipathis, Matadipathis, and the organisers of the Hindu religious institutions across the country.

Such conferences were conducted in 2007, 2008, 2015, and 2017 and passed several resolutions to uphold the values of Hindu Dharma for the sake of future generations.

TTD Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy was also present at the conclave.
