Two people died and three others sustained injuries as a car carrying them skidded off the road at Near Maholi in Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, on Thursday evening.
The State Administration said in a press release issued here today that this incident occurred when, during inclement weather, five people were travelling in a Celerio car.
A report confirmed that three people died on the spot and two others were seriously injured. The injured have been sent to the civil hospital.

Two deceased couldn’t be identified, and one is identified as Abhay of village Dakho. Soon after receiving information about the mishap, a rescue party rushed to the spot from Kumsrsen and traced and executed the deceased injured in the vehicle.
During the mishap, it was raining and snowing, and the preliminary report indicates that the vehicle skidded off the slippery road. More details are awaited.
