Former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took a swipe at BJP-led Central government over its policies regarding the unemployment issue.
“There was Parliament security breach but the reasons behind is unemployment and inflation,” he said.
Responding to media queries about security breach in Parliament, Rahul alleged, “The youth are desperate because of unemployment. Unemployment is the main issue in the country. The youths are not getting employment due to the policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
Five persons were arrested in this connection. Two persons jumped from the Lok Sabha visitor’s gallery into the chamber while proceedings were on during Zero Hour and released yellow smoke from canisters.
Both the intruders, besides two others who took part in a similar protest outside the parliament building around the same time, were arrested.
Later, one more accused was arrested who was absconding since the incident happened.
