Venkaiah Naidu highlights Hyderabad as a vibrant and well-connected city

Date:

Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu remarked on Saturday that Hyderabad is a city that exudes vibrancy due to its excellent national and international connectivity.

Addressing the audience as the chief guest during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) at a private hotel in Hitech-City, Naidu emphasized that Hyderabad boasts seamless air, rail, and road connectivity, along with exceptional entertainment facilities like Ramoji Film City.

He also highlighted the city’s remarkable growth in the IT sector, underscoring its status as a hub of activity.

During his speech, Naidu introduced a fresh slogan for “Housing for All,” suggesting a slight modification to “Happy Housing for All.”

He emphasised the importance of acquiring suitable residential or commercial properties without regret and lauded the growth of the real estate sector in Hyderabad, while stressing the need for affordability and comprehensive amenities.

Naidu further stressed the significance of architectural excellence and Indian heritage, particularly ancient temples and places of worship.

He urged the promotion of sustainable and native architecture, with a focus on coexisting with nature and preserving culture for a brighter future.

Reflecting on global natural disasters, Naidu underscored the necessity of safeguarding the environment and planned urban growth.

He echoed Prime Minister Modi’s mantra of “reform, perform, and transform,” emphasizing a holistic approach to national development.

The former Vice-President advised the real estate sector to prioritize proper ventilation, air quality, and water management, drawing inspiration from traditional Indian village planning for comfortable and healthy living.

Naidu acknowledged the role of regulations in the real estate industry while cautioning against over-regulation, suggesting that broad principles should guide the sector.

Naidu praised NAREDCO’s journey of 25 years and encouraged the continued pursuit of affordable, happy, and healthy housing for all.

He expressed confidence in India’s skilled workforce and their ability to drive progress and innovation.

Naidu drew parallels between India’s growth in the real estate sector and its achievements in other domains, such as space exploration, underscoring the importance of maintaining high standards and quality.
