Visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was on Thursday accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan, ahead of his bilateral talks with PM Modi.
The Vietnamese PM, who is on a three-day state visit to India, later went to Raj Ghat to lay a wreath.
The MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X:

On Wednesday, EAM Jaishankar had called on the visiting dignitary.
Addressing the Vietnam-India Business Forum in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Vietnamese Prime Minister called for boosting bilateral trade to USD20 billion at the earliest.
The Vietnamese PM also on Wednesday met the managers of major Indian corporate houses such as Adani, SMS Pharmaceuticals, Sri Avantika Contractors, and BDR and urged them to invest in Vietnam’s infrastructure, construction and pharmaceutical sectors.
