Youth held for making anti-national statements

A youth, identified as Sahil Khan, has been booked in Mumbai’s Chunabhatti area for allegedly making anti-national statements during Operation Sindoor, police said on Monday.

Khan, 20, is a resident of Kurla; in the city suburb, and is a student of engineering, police added.

The local police has registered a case against Khan under Sections 152 (acts endangering the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of India), 197(2) (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), and 353 1(E) (statements amounting to public mischief) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for posting anti-India content.
