Agartala, 6th August 2024:  Tripura BJP secretary Devid Debbarma has written a letter to the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha seeking for allocation of three Medical Officers at Dasarath Deb Memorial Primary Health Care, Ratanpur, under Padmabil RD Block, Khowai.

In the letter, Devid wrote that the Dasarath Deb Memorial Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Ratanpur is the only healthcare facility serving this large and populous locality. Despite its crucial role, the PHC currently lacks dedicated Medical Officers in key specialisations: Ayurveda, Dentistry, and Allopathy.

“The absence of these specialists is significantly limiting the range of healthcare services available to the community and placing an additional burden on the residents, who often have to travel long distances to access specialised care. In light of the large and growing population in the area, I humbly request the allocation of three Medical Officers, specialising in Ayurveda, Dentistry, and Allopathy, to the Dasarath Deb Memorial PHC”, he said.

He pointed out that the appointment of these specialists would greatly enhance the PHC’s capacity to provide comprehensive healthcare and improve the overall health outcomes for the community.

“Given the importance of accessible healthcare for all, I trust that under your Visionary leadership, the necessary steps will be taken to address this urgent need and strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in our locality”, he wrote.
