J&K: Two killed, six injured in Rajouri road mishap

 At least two persons were killed and six injured on Sunday when a cab they were travelling in met with an accident and turned turtle in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that the cab ferrying the passengers on its way from Thandikassi towards Lam, met with an accident near village Chalan.

The driver identified as Arun Kumar was found dead on the spot, while Mohd Din of Baglaw succumbed to injuries at the sub-district hospital Nowshera.

Police said that six persons including four of a family also suffered injuries in the road accident, adding, “all admitted in the hospital are undergoing treatment and are stable.”

Police however, have registered a case and started the investigation.
