Forca Kochi FC rally to beat Thiruvananthapuram Kombans in Super League Kerala

Hosts Forca Kochi FC defeated Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC 2-1 in the Super League Kerala .

The winners trailed 0-1 at half time on Friday night.

Kombans, relying on quick counters and set pieces, began to grow into the game. Their persistence paid off in the 41st minute when they won a corner. Brazilian international Marcos Wilder rose highest to meet the ball with a powerful header, placing it perfectly into the net to give Kombans the lead.

The equaliser that Kochi fans had been eagerly waiting for came in the 63rd minute, with forward Rahul KP finding the back of the net, sending the home crowd into rapturous celebrations. From that point on, Kochi maintained their intensity, pushing for a winning goal.

Their efforts were rewarded when Nijo Gilbert delivered a precise assist to Dorielton, who scored the decisive goal, securing Kochi’s first victory in the Super League Kerala.
