At least three people were killed and one person was injured in an armed attack Tuesday night in Ecuador’s capital Quito, police said on Wednesday.
The attack took place after 8 p.m. local time at a beauty salon in the Nueva Aurora neighborhood in south Quito, according to local media reports.
The National Police in Quito’s Metropolitan District tweeted that there were six suspects traveling in two vehicles, and police was investigating the attack.
Quito, the country’s most populated city, has seen several shootings in different parts of the city in recent weeks.
