6.2-magnitude quake hits Southeast of Ryukyu Islands: GFZ

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted Southeast of Ryukyu Islands at 1216 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.00 degrees north latitude and 131.30 degrees east longitude.
