At least 14 people were killed, and 16 others were injured when a bus from India plunged into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal’s Tanahun district on Friday, media reports said.
According to the reports of Kathmandu Post the accident took place at Aaina Pahara in Tanahun district.
After preliminary inquiry the police estimated that there were around 40 passengers on board the bus that was en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Kumar Raya rescue operation is going on with the help of Nepal police, Armed Police Force (APF) and locals. They have rescued some injured passengers from the crash site and are carrying out the rescue efforts.
