China will help Syria safeguard its sovereignty and restore stability, Beijing is against terrorist forces creating chaos, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday.
“At present, the situation in Syria has suddenly changed, China will continue to support the Syrian people,” Wang Yi said at a conference on the international situation in 2024 and Chinese diplomacy.
He added that China “will prevent terrorist forces from taking advantage of the opportunity to sow chaos, and help Syria safeguard its sovereignty and restore stability.”
