A 5.0-magnitude earthquake rocked Indonesia’s eastern province of Papua on Friday, the meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
The agency reported the quake occurred at 11:25 a.m. Jakarta time (0425 GMT) with its epicenter being at 42 km northwest of Jayapura district and a depth of 28 km under-land, the agency said.
The earthquake does not have the potential to trigger a tsunami.
