Kuwaiti Emir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has dismissed Deputy Prime Minister and Oil Minister Imad Ateeqi, the state-run Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Sunday, citing the emir’s decree.
Through another decree, the Kuwaiti leader appointed Finance Minister and Economic Affairs Minister Noora Fassam as Acting Oil Minister in addition to her existing duties, the report read.
