A 5.0-magnitude earthquake has hit Turkey’s southern province of Adana, the Turkey Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said on Sunday.
The earthquake occurred at 17:07 GMT at a depth of about 20.13 kilometers (12.4 miles) in the district of Kozan.
The AFAD and all teams from other Turkish emergency agencies immediately started exploring the area, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya wrote on X. The situation is stable, he added.
