US billionaire Elon Musk has been privately discussing with allies how Keir Starmer could be removed as UK prime minister before the next general election, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Musk has reportedly sought information about the possibility of building support for alternative UK political movements, particularly the right-wing Reform UK party, to “force a change” of prime minister before the next election, which is not due before 2029.
On January 3, Musk accused Starmer of being complicit in the grooming gangs scandal in the UK, pointing out that Starmer was the head of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008-2013, when gang rapes were happening.
Earlier on Thursday, the US billionaire agreed that the UK’s judicial system was “completely broken” after the UK Parliament voted against a new national investigation into mass child rape by Asian grooming gangs across the country.
