Pak PM to visit UAE to attend World Govt Summit

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Feb. 10 to Feb. 11 to attend the World Government Summit (WGS), the foreign ministry said.

The summit will bring together a large number of heads of state, global policymakers and leading private sector figures to discuss the future of governance, innovation and international cooperation, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

At the summit, the prime minister will deliver a keynote address at the WGS, highlighting Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation and governance reforms, the statement said.

Sharif will also hold bilateral meetings with the UAE leadership as well as engage with heads of state from participating countries and leading chief executive officers of major multinational companies.
