PM plants Sindoor sapling at his residence on World Environment Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi planted a Sindoor sapling at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence here on the occasion of World Environment Day on Thursday, .

The plant was gifted to him recently by the women from Kutch, Gujarat, who had displayed extraordinary courage and patriotism during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, said a government statement here.

Recalling his visit to Kutch, the Prime Minister posted on X, “This plant will remain a strong symbol of the valour and inspiration of the women power of our country.” UNI AJ SSP
