Agartala, December 14, 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Tripura on December 18 i.e. Sunday next.
During the one-day visit, the Prime Minister will officially inaugurate several developmental projects in the state and will interact with various government beneficiaries, said ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury while brief media persons at Civil Secretariat here on Wednesday.
He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Swami Vivekananda Maidan from Agartala MBB Airport on December 18 to attend the government programme. Final preparations are being made from the state administration in this regard. He said that in 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government announced Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which is appreciated all over the world.
Pursuant to that vision, a special drive on transparency has been undertaken in Agartala city and peri-urban areas around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. Initiatives have been taken by the state administration to make this program successful. The ICA Minister also said that a high-level meeting has already been held at the initiative of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of the state to make this state visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi a success. The Minister of Information and Culture said that the detailed schedule of the Prime Minister’s tour schedule will be officially announced within the next one or two days.
