Rahul condoles loss of lives in Vadodara bridge collapse, calls for prompt action

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi today expressed his sorrow over the bridge collapse in Vadodara, Gujarat, which resulted in loss of lives.

In a social media post, Rahul Gandhi described the incident as extremely tragic and heartbreaking.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the accident.

“I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery for the injured,” he said.

He further stated, “I expect the administration to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured and provide full assistance to all the affected families”.

Notably, 10 people were killed and six others injured after a bridge over Mahisagar river collapsed in Gujarat’s Vadodara district.
