EME Club emerged as the winner of the Hyderabad Black Hawks Volleyball Club championship with a spirited victory over South Central Railway (SCR) in the final at the Railway Sports Complex here.
The five-day Volleyball Club championship was concluded on December 18.
In a hotly contested final, EME got the better of the Railways tester fighting their way back a 1-2 deficit midway through the encounter.
EME won the title 11-15, 15-14, 12-15, 15-13, and 15-8, wearing out a talented team through sheer tenacity and determination.
SATS Chairman Venkateshwar Reddy, who was the chief guest, presented the winner cup.
